Plunger Lift Solutions

Cost-effective systems for gas wells and mixed-flow wells — designed, built, and inventoried in-house.

Four decades of in-house plunger engineering.

At Endurance, we design, build, and inventory our own plunger lift systems in-house — enabling us to respond quickly, whether you need new systems, plunger lift maintenance, or replacement parts. Building on a track record spanning more than four decades, our in-house engineering team continues to deliver some of the most innovative plunger lift solutions in the industry. We offer a wide range of reliable, leading-edge plunger types to help you stay on track with your decline curve — and we manufacture the supporting components too: motor valves, wellhead lubricators, and chokes.

Three Families

Leading technologies. Longer run times.

01

Pacemaker®

High liquids · Minimal shut-in

Exclusive patented two-piece plunger design for wells producing high liquids that require minimal shut-in time.

02

Bypass

Fall-against-flow · More cycles per day

Falls through the tubing against the natural flow of the well — operates with minimal shut-in and enables continuous operation.

03

Conventional

Utility · Broad application range

Utility-type plungers for trouble-free operation and long plunger life across a wide range of well conditions.

Flagship

Pacemaker® Plunger Lift System.

The Endurance Pacemaker® uses the original patented two-piece plunger design. The large bypass area, coupled with high-strength materials and proprietary system components, enables operators to increase production and recoverable reserves.

Now available in BLAZE®-treated variants and different lengths — cut equipment spend, extend run life, and improve cash flow.

Advantages
  • Removes more wellbore fluid by completing more trips per day
  • Virtually eliminates the need for any shut-in time
  • Works well with on-site compression
  • Deliquification for slim-hole and packer completions
  • Operates with minimal bottom-hole pressure
  • Eliminates line-pressure spikes
  • Maintains a low flowing bottom-hole pressure
  • Broadens plunger lift to wells above critical rate
Bypass Plungers

Built to outperform conventional options.

Endurance bypass plungers fall against the natural flow of the well — enabling more cycles per day than conventional plungers. Improved ability to remove fluid from the tubing, with fewer fluid slugs building up at the bottom. Performance scales with critical flow rates rather than build-up pressure.

The plunger operates with a valve mechanism: falling to the bottom closes the valve via bumper spring, creating a sealed surface; the plunger travels back to the wellhead lubricator where the valve is actuated open, then the cycle repeats.

Hi-Flo™

Fall-against-flow · Minimal shut-in

Designed to fall against flow to minimize or eliminate shut-in time. Helps force out fluid that collects on tubing walls. Many operators choose the BLAZE® Hi-Flo for significant run-life improvement over conventional options — recapturing lost time spent measuring and changing plungers, and improving cash flow for every well.

Sliding Sleeve

Wells < 750 MCFD · Liquid loading

Ideal for wells flowing less than 750 MCFD or experiencing liquid loading. Runs continuously, on a quick-trip cycle, or alongside continuous-flow gas lift. A BLAZE® sliding sleeve brings substantial run-life expansion, cuts field service time, and reduces production slippage.

Conventional Plungers

Delivering versatility & longevity.

Conventional plungers are the right fit for a variety of well types. The choice depends on expected fluid load, the condition of the tubing, and whether the well produces solids such as sand or paraffin. Utility-type plungers that deliver trouble-free operation, long plunger life, and reliable performance across a wide range of operating conditions.

Steady-Flo / Sand Plunger

High fluid volume · Low gas energy

Ideal for wells producing high fluid volumes but lacking gas energy to evacuate it. Dual through-bore channels allow the plunger to find a hydrostatic equilibrium — slipping fluid as it rises so the well's available energy delivers an even fluid amount on each run.

Dual Pad (Skirted)

Improved wear & reliability

A step ahead in padded plungers — superior wear characteristics and better reliability. Operates well across varied conditions; handles changing liquid loads without sacrificing performance.

Barstock

Low-cost utility · Solids / low production

Optimal low-cost utility plungers, typically used in wells with solids or low liquid and gas production. Extremely versatile — capable of paraffin/scale buildup reduction or temporary sand cleanout.

Hollow

Low-cost utility · Lightweight

Low-cost utility plungers for wells with solids or low liquid and gas production. A lightweight alternative to solid barstock plungers.

Brush

De-scaling · Heat-resistant nylon bristles

A flexible brush spirally wound onto a solid mandrel with undercuts, ensuring tubing de-scaling with every cycle. Stiff, heat-resistant, durable nylon bristles deliver a longer lifespan than competing models.
